WSBP Will Finish The Breasting Dolphin Repair Project Kap. 6500 DWT Manggis, Bali

Jakarta, January 2022. Not only supplying and providing construction services for toll road infrastructure projects, PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (Stock Code: WSBP) also has a portfolio of other infrastructure projects. Now, WSBP is in the middle of a contract for the repair of the Breasting Dolphin Kap. 6500 DWT which is located in Karangasem Regency, Bali Province.

“Currently the company is working on the Breasting Dolphin Kap repair project. 6500 DWT (Dead Weight Ton) at the Manggis Integrated Terminal Pier, Bali,” said Sugiharto, Director of Business Development at PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk.

This project is expected to be completed in April 2022. In this case the company PT Pertamina (Persero) especially the Directorate of Retail Marketing, Marketing Operation Region V Office acts as the employer. "The company continues to develop strategies to reach external markets by partnering and collaborating with other SOEs," he added.

This repair project aims to replace the previously damaged Breasting Dolphin. WSBP`s scope of work in this project includes construction work starting from preparation, demolition, erection, equipment, and testing. The work progress as of early January 2022 has reached 73.2%.

In carrying out its work, WSBP is committed to prioritizing the implementation of good QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) principles. In addition, WSBP is also committed to increasing the participation of MSMEs in project implementation.

For information, WSBP targets the acquisition of a new contract value in 2022 of IDR 3.5 trillion. WSBP`s optimism is supported by the large market potential of Waskita Group`s projects, such as the Dam, Transmission, and Railroad projects. In addition, WSBP also has new project targets from projects from external markets originating from Government, BUMN, and Private projects.
