WSBP Shares Can Be Traded Again

Jakarta, August 3rd 2020. PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP) shares can be traded again due to the official letter from PT Bursa Efek Indonesia dated on July 30th 2020). The Indonesia Stock Exchange (Bursa) has decided to revoke the temporary suspension of PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk. (WSBP, WSBP01CN1 and WSBP01CN2) across all markets from the Securities Trading Session I Monday, August 3rd, 2020.

"The lifting of the temporary suspension (suspension) is proof that we have not postponed the obligation to pay the bond coupon as previously reported. What happened was only a technical obstacle when sending funds. We are committed to maintaining the trust of investors and the public in WSBP shares, ”said Anton YT Nugroho, Finance Director of PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk.

WSBP shares were temporarily suspended by IDX, which was conveyed in the announcement of Peng-SPT-00019 / BEI.PP3 / 07-2020 number regarding the Temporary Suspension of Securities Trading of PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk. The trading termination was due to a technical problem during the delivery of funds to KSEI which was carried out on July 29, 2020 but only became effective in the KSEI account on July 30rd, 2020, according to the maturity date of the PUB I phase II bond coupon payment. Interest payment funds will be distributed to bondholders by the Indonesian Central Securities Depository on August 3rd, 2020.

WSBP management guarantees that the company will always fulfill its obligation to pay interest or principal loans to creditors. "This year`s performance is very much influenced by economic conditions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but it is certain that WSBP will fulfill its obligations to all creditors," said Anton.

According to the financial report as of June 30th, 2020, WSBP recorded operating revenues of Rp1.1 trillion and net profit of Rp5.18 billion. In order to restore the company`s performance after the Covid-19 pandemic ended, WSBP is developing several precast products that can be applied to construction projects such as modular precast buildings including homes and school buildings.

"We have several business development plans this year and next year. One of them is in order to support the construction of toll and housing infrastructure, including plans to develop the new nation`s capital," Anton concluded.
